Tan Lay Eng

Lay Eng is the communications strategist, brand gatekeeper, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) coordinator for Activate. Though thriving in the journalism world as a Content Producer with Singapore Press Holdings as her first job,

Lay Eng yearned for a more meaningful career that can help others. She joined the social service sector to lending her voice and writing to the needy communities at Children’s Cancer Foundation and Home Nursing Foundation.

Now at Activate, Lay Eng takes her dream a step further by being part of a team that is passionate about harnessing technology to change people’s lives for the better and playing an active role in supporting community health and well-being through CSR.  Described by friends as “girl-next-door with a closet rocker personality”, Lay Eng often surprises people with her craze for Chinese rock music, partly fuelled by an intense love for the Chinese language and culture.
